Don’t Be a Bama
Don’t Be a Bama and get this shirt! The hottest item in the DC area are these Don’t Be Bama T-Shirts. A ‘bama‘ (or bamma) is DC area slang for anyone who does or says anything that you feel is unacceptable.
From the Urban Dictionary:
A general-multi used DC Metro area term used to describe a person who has no style, taste, or class. Usually this person has no idea that he/she is classified as a Bamma – rather they go about their daily lives thinking what they do, say, or wear is acceptable.
It’s a term we’ve used personally since we were small (and still do occasionally). Once you’ve decided to incorporate this term into your everyday vocabulary, it will be hard to find an appropriate replacement. Visit them online to get these one of a kinda tees.
